KenMac Associates Ltd currently has an excellent success rate with over 1000 successful RISQS audits on behalf of our Clients.
RISQS is the Supplier Approval Scheme Company required to work on the Network Rail Infrastructure. RISQS-approved companies will go onto a database from which Train Operating Companies and Principal Contractors will select contractors and invite them to tender for work in the rail environment.
Given the dangerous nature of the rail environment, the approval process is very demanding and companies wishing to become RISQS-approved must pass an onerous RISQS Audit. This involves a visit by a RISQS Auditor who will audit whether the Company’s Management Systems, Personnel and Infrastructure are adequate to meet Network Rail’s stringent standards for; Rail Safety, Construction Safety, Quality, Environmental Performance, and Business Continuity.

Assistance will also be given to the Company’s Management Team to implement and brief the workforce on the new system. We can also help with audit preparation and attend on the day of the audit in order to ensure a successful audit result. The audit is an annual requirement to ensure the required standard is maintained. Therefore, we can offer a full updating service that will include site inspections, internal audits, and ongoing training.
